We arrived to a misty Dublin morning, after collecting our 21" suitcases and we drove 2 hours south to Cashel and checked into the cozy Rockville B&B. Our first stop was Acorn Nursing Home where we had the opportunity to meet with some fantastic Irish elders. We learned about skilled nursing care and enjoyed an afternoon tea with the residents and staff. The visit ended with an impromptu "Irish house party" that included Irish dancing and ethnic songs. Our first day in Ireland ended with a group dinner at Bailey's Cellar Restaurant in downtown Cashel. We are looking forward to a good night's rest and tomorrow's action-filled day. Goodnight friends!
